Recommend for a hurried visit

Welcoming staff, spacious room, the lady at reception was incredibly friendly and shared great local information, and the bar was conveniently seconds away from our lovely tea area.

Had a lovely time, room was clean and spacious. The bed? Super comfy! The pub's food was super tasty, but once we waited ages for drinks. Staff forgot about us a bit. it was a fun stay, just needed a bit more attention sometimes.

I expected more from the meals based on previous visits. I sincerely appreciated the lovely staff who were always ready to assist despite being short-staffed.

Really enjoyed my stay! The spacious room had a comfy bed, and the pub downstairs served fantastic food. The hunters chicken and apple pie were delicious! I felt at home and relaxed my whole visit.
